Weight Loss Myths: You Need To Eat Healthy To Lose Weight

While we encourage you to eat wholesome, healthy meals because of the health benefits, the weight loss myth that you need to eat healthy meals to lose weight is simply not true!

Eating for weight loss is NOT equal to eating healthy!

You can lose weight by eating meals that are considered unhealthy meals if you are creating a NEGATIVE calorie balance with your meals. This means that you are creating a caloric deficit.


And in the same way you can also gain weight by eating meals that are considered healthy if you are creating a POSITIVE calorie balance with your meals.

A NEGATIVE calorie balance means that you burn more calories than you eat.

While a POSITIVE calorie balance means that you burn fewer calories than you consume.

To lose weight, you need to have a NEGATIVE calorie balance and what you eat to achieve this really doesn’t matter💁🏿
